Our Mission
Our mission "Empower and Preserve Independent Dentistry" by providing a platform
for independent dentists to organize and unite as a large group.
Collectively, Dental Cooperative members can accomplish what individual dentists
cannot. Through the Cooperative, members maintain their independence as practitioners
and private business owners while having access to benefits that large corporate
practices enjoy.
The following are three strategic objectives that contribute to fulfilling our mission:
Reducing Practice Cost
- Employ bargaining power to save thousands of dollars in overhead expenses through
key supply and manufacturer relationships and purchasing contracts with dental vendors.
- Access to our strong banking relationships to refinance existing loans or create
working capital.
- Participate in the Cooperative's Profit Sharing and Equity Programs available to
all members.
- Take advantage of our HR benefits through key relationships with outsourced companies
that can assist you in providing health benefits, payroll services, Cobra administration,
life insurance and retirement planning.
Creating and Controlling Patient Flow
- "Dentist Direct" is an insurance plan designed and created by the Dental Cooperative.
It was formed to compete against other insurance carriers and offered as an alternative
for the brokerage community and individuals seeking dental insurance.
- The Cooperative's unique "Dental Benefit Program" creates new patients for Dental
Cooperative dentists by offering negotiated discounts to local employers, colleges,
associations and residential complexes.
- Referral Service Programs provide Co-Op members with an effective mechanism to facilitate
patient referrals.
- Marketing Advisory Services are available to members who want additional help in
using key benefits to stimulate new patient flow into their offices.
Providing Fair and Safe Financing
The Dental Cooperative has created a unique program for dentists who need to:
- Transition protection in case of death or disability.
- Safely maximize the equity in their practice while providing the greatest flexibility
in choosing when they want to exit the practice.
- Acquire and manage additional practices and need financing without encumbering personal
assets outside the dental practice.
- Purchase of new or replacement equipment over $2,000.00.
SAVE ON SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT
The Dental Cooperative proactively reaches out to dental suppliers and vendors to
help its’ members control and reduce monthly operating costs.
